The secret of volunteering at Jeanne Jugan Residence is simple. Whatever you give comes back to you in ways you cannot even imagine. Whether you have a little time or alot, there are dozens of ways to bring joy to the lives of our Residents.

Direct service to the Residents

• Visiting and reading to them
• Helping them to write letters
• Assisting them to enjoy activities
• Driving them to medical appointments

In the Laundry

• Folding clothes

In the Kitchen

• Preparing fruits and vegetables for the meals

In the Office

• Filing, folding/stuffing/labeling envelopes

In the Maintenance Department

• Routine small repairs
• Painting
• Yard work

Fundraising

• Help with rummage sales and other events to support our Home
